Center for Middle Yangtze River Research(CMYRR), approved by Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics (JUFE) in 2013, is a full-time research institution of JUFE whose predecessor was academic team of development economics and urban economics. CMYRR is equipped with 1 professor, 1 associate professor and associate professor and 3 lecturers, three of whom have doctor degree. There are 3 masters tutors in CMYRR now.
CMYRR will keep up with the new situation of the development of urban agglomeration in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River. CMYRR sets a goal to become a first-class think tank serving for local economic development by focusing on researches on the theory and practice of development of urban agglomeration in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River.
